{COLLAB} Vicki de Romaround x Chipiron
It's been a few months since we last collaborated with a local artist. A few months ago, we presented Anne-Laure from Bonjour Darling for the Culs Nus 2020 edition. This fall-winter 2020 season, we are also starting with an English artist, based in Bidart, discovered through Instagram posts . Encounter.

She is Victoire Firth, Vicky to her friends, a crazy Englishwoman who agreed to collaborate with us on the theme, of course, of Chipiron.

"After studying art at university in the UK, I started traveling. I have been lucky enough to maintain this lifestyle over the last 10 years working and living in many countries different, spending a lot of time in New Zealand and summers in my self-built campervan in Europe. I draw a lot of inspiration and creativity from the beautiful coastal nature around me and the moments of my travels. His inspiration? Victoria has it in front of her eyes, it's the ocean and those it hunts, we can't guess, the marine animals. She draws them, carefully and with many details, and a good dose of dots. Chipiron, whales, orcas, they come to life in his works. They take their places on canvases, on an abandoned bus which over the course of a few months will become a sort of giant aquarium. "My drawings are entirely made up of small dots using very fine ink pens, pointillism is the style I practice.

With my works exhibited all over the world, from XXL murals in New Zealand to living room prints in Italy, I am delighted to share this project with Chipiron."

From this collaboration, we released a t-shirt, a unique surfboard (actually, in 2 copies, because the first went quickly to an apartment in Hossegor :)) and an enamel mug, as well as reproductions of his artwork in A4 format.
