On June 17, if you are in Paris, come and meet us at Carreau du Temple. It's 100% free for professionals and the general public. In addition to Chipiron Surfboards, you can discover other brands from ready-to-wear to decoration, food, children... 50 ready stories and people behind these stories. From the South West, our friends from Woodstache and the jerseys from Biarritz Sowe will also be there.
This is a first and it's happening in France : Instagram is organizing, on June 17, the very first Instapreneurs Show which will highlight its community of small and medium-sized businesses. The event, which will be held at the Carreau du temple, will bring together around fifty entrepreneurs from all over France to meet their community.
With more than 700 million active users each month around the world, Instagram has become the essential social network for individuals and businesses. 400 million people go to Instagram every day to connect with communities who share the same passions.
Instagram has quickly established itself as THE essential platform for VSEs and SMEs. It has become an essential communication tool for brands who, through images (photos, videos and Stories), tell their story, connect and engage with their community. The community, for its part, has shown a lot of interest in brands since 80% of Instagrammers follow at least one company on the platform and 60% say they have discovered a product or service on Instagram. Instagram has thus encouraged even more interactions between brands and their existing or potential customers by allowing much more than inspiration. In fact, 75% of community members have already visited a company's website, done a search, recommended it to a friend or made a purchase after seeing a post on Instagram.
Whether they have transformed their passion into a business or are developing their business thanks to Instagram, 50 French entrepreneurs in sectors such as sport, fashion, art, decoration, children, food, beauty or encore la santé, based in Paris, in the provinces or even based abroad, will come to share, on their dedicated stand, a little of their world and sell a selection of their products or services.
On the occasion of this unique event, Jim Squires , Head of Instagram Business will travel from the Californian headquarters to pay tribute to small and medium-sized French businesses. He explains: “ Helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses is a priority for Instagram. With a rich community of more than 700 million members, Instagram helps small and medium-sized businesses across all sectors find the audience they are interested in and grow. After speaking with small businesses to find out what they needed most, we created a suite of tools to help them stand out and learn what content works best on Instagram. With 8 million businesses using these tools around the world, we want to continue working with them to evolve our solutions based on their needs. This is why we are proud to organize the very first Instapreneurs Show in France, a key market for Instagram. This event helps to highlight the entrepreneurial talents that contribute to the success and dynamism of the French economy, today and tomorrow .”
For the show, Instagram chose a sponsor in the person of Guillaume Gibault, founder of the now famous Slip Français because the brand embodies the very example of the success of an entrepreneur, of a brand on social networks and in particular Instagram . " For Le Slip Français, Instagram is our first image lever and it is also often where our customers encounter the brand for the first time. Instagram profoundly transforms our business through the new relationship it builds between a brand and its community This is a huge opportunity for entrepreneurs who are starting out and I am delighted and proud to be the sponsor of this great event to help them make the most of it to grow and make themselves known!” declares Guillaume Gibault.
With this event, Instagram intends to extend the experience of the platform into reality and thus continue its mission of bringing people together by strengthening the bonds of its community around shared experiences.
In addition to discovering the entrepreneurs on their stands, individuals and professionals will be able to come and listen to the inspiring stories of participating entrepreneurs in three moments of exchange on the theme of entrepreneurship:
- 11 a.m.: How Made in France brands appeal internationally
- 3 p.m.: Young entrepreneurs, the next generation
